Dear friends and colleagues,

Although the past years have been challenging us with frequent recurrence of COVID-19 epidemics, but it did not stop us from working hard and achieving a lot of progress in investigative dermatology. Thanks to the joint efforts of CSID board members and organizing committee, the annual meeting finally will meet you in person as the most anticipated event in the field of basic and translational dermatology research during September 8~10, 2023 at Xi’an International Convention Center.

This year we are especially honored to have with us Prof. Chen Dong, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Prof. Kenji Kabashima, Chairman of Dermatology, Kyoto University and Board director of the International Societies for Investigative Dermatology; Prof. Abe Riichiro, Chairman of Dermatology at Niigata University and Chief-in-Editor of Journal of Dermatological Sciences; Prof. Manabu Fujimoto, Secretary general of Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology; and Prof. Zhi Liu, Distinguished Professor and Director of Research from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, USA. We are also delighted to have plentiful high-quality contributions from all major research groups.

By organizing this meeting, CSID is committed to promoting clinical and basic science research of dermatology in in China, as well as the exchange with international peers. It has created a high-quality platform and broadens the scientific research ideas of dermatologists, graduate students and researchers on skin diseases.

I hope you will come to visit us in the brand new ancient city Xi’an in the most beautiful season. You will definitely spend a few meaningful days and get inspired from it. We wish you a happy journey and the meeting a great success!
